Why the Sources Differ
Texas public-record rules do not make every record appear in one search. Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office systems identify current county custody and recent county book-ins. A municipal police log can document an earlier city arrest, while the appropriate clerk and court portal show what happened after the booking. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is a separate route for state custody. When an official interface does not display a requested image, the Records Division is the appropriate place for a narrow request tied to a named event.
Records Paths Collected Here
The main content is organized around the local systems that hold different portions of a record.
- The home page explains the county roster, daily booked-in reports, booking-record requests, court follow-up, and Texas record limits.
- Wanted Fugitives points to the Sheriff’s official flyer and warrant-resolution channels.
- City pages distinguish Fort Worth, Arlington, and Grand Prairie custody paths from Tarrant County custody.
- Arrest News separates official sources from local reporting and secondary publishers.
Limits of This Service
Tarrant County Busted Mugshots is privately operated and is not connected to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, a Texas jail, a corrections department, or another government agency. It cannot release or hold a person, post bond, arrange a visit, file paperwork, or provide legal advice. Phone numbers, fees, addresses, and roster results can change at the source.
- Only the responsible agency can confirm present custody, a release, or a current charge.
- Only the record custodian can respond to a public-information request.
- Only the court can establish a case outcome.
Use the official source named for the event. A booking entry is an accusation, not a finding of guilt.
Search Partner Disclosure
Some pages contain a search tool operated by an outside provider. That provider sets its own results, terms, and pricing. If a visitor follows a tool to a paid enrollment, this site may receive a referral fee that supports its operation. The referral relationship does not control an agency record or the provider’s result.
