This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post a bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible agency directly for those services.
Where to Start
For county custody and event-specific sheriff records, use the contacts below. The public inmate search is the quickest official starting point for current Tarrant County custody, but a specific booking record or photograph request belongs with the Records Division.

Match the Record Holder
Choose the agency that created or now holds the item. A current roster, a daily book-in report, a police incident, and a court disposition are related, but they are not the same record.
- Use the Tarrant County lookup path for the inmate roster, daily booked-in reports, bond reports, and sheriff booking-record requests.
- For a Fort Worth incident, contact FWPD Records at 1000 Calvert Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107, 817-392-4160.
- For an Arlington police record, contact Arlington Records Services, 620 W. Division Street, Arlington, TX 76011, 817-459-5680, or PoliceRecords@ArlingtonTX.gov.
- For a Grand Prairie police record, use the city’s online police-record route or email policerequests@gptx.org.
- Use Odyssey, the County Clerk, or the District Clerk for case progress and final disposition. State-prison, federal, and immigration custody require their own agency locators.
Public-Information Requests
TCSO accepts sheriff-record requests through JustFOIA, email, mail, or in person. Include the person’s name, date, booking number or CID when known, agency, and the specific record requested. The county does not publish a universal booking-photo price or a promised response time. Its Public Information Act guidance explains that a cost estimate can be required and that additional time may be noticed under Texas law.
The county-wide public-information route is also available through the Criminal District Attorney’s Office at 401 W. Belknap, 9th Floor, Fort Worth, TX 76196-0201, by fax at 817-884-1675, or at openrecords@tarrantcountytx.gov. Send a sheriff booking-photo request first to TCSO Records because that office maintains the jail record.
